At Core Devs, we use an AI-First Development Pipeline. Every project starts from a written SRS and is broken into milestones with explicit User Acceptance Criteria. Developers work alongside Claude Code and other AI coding tools to plan, implement, test, and document features.

You will not be writing code in isolation. You will be reading specs, generating implementation plans, writing tests alongside code, recording short video demos at each milestone, and delivering working software that passes UAC before moving to the next milestone. If you are excited by AI-assisted development and want to ship faster than traditional teams, you will fit in here. If you prefer copy-pasting from Stack Overflow without reading requirements, this role is not for you.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong in React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, and REST API integration
• Comfortable with TypeScript, not just JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI API, LangChain, or similar AI/LLM tooling
• Familiar with MongoDB, plus at least one SQL database (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• Has used AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) in real projects, not just tutorials
• Comfortable reading and working from a written SRS or technical specification
• Writes unit tests as part of normal development, not as an afterthought
• Can break a feature into hourly subtasks and hit the estimates
• Solid Git discipline: clean commits, meaningful PRs, branch hygiene
• Translates project goals into UI plus API workflows with minimal supervision
• Proactive communicator, fast learner, and reliable team player
• Values respect, accountability, and open communication.

1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development, with at least one real project involving AI or LLM integration.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic frontends using React.js, Next.js, and TailwindCSS
• Build secure and efficient backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js
• Integrate AI APIs (OpenAI, LangChain, HuggingFace, or custom ML endpoints) into web applications
• Handle prompt engineering, API response parsing, and context management
• Build chatbot logic, dashboard analytics, and AI-driven automation features
• Connect AI modules to backend databases (MongoDB and SQL) and ensure scalable data handling
• Implement real-time interactions using WebSockets for live AI responses or trading feedback
• Read project SRS documents and produce implementation plans before writing code
• Write unit tests achieving a minimum of 80% coverage, and 90% for critical paths such as payments, authentication, and trading logic
• Record short video demos of completed milestones for client delivery
• Use Claude Code and the Core Devs pipeline slash commands as part of daily workflow
• Participate in milestone-based delivery: build, test, demo, get UAC sign-off, then move forward
• Run code through the pipeline's audit step before marking work as complete
• Provide hourly estimations for all assigned tasks and communicate expected completion times
• Work with the AI and backend teams to connect AI insights with trading or data modules
• Maintain detailed documentation for all integrations, routes, and AI logic
• Stay current with new AI tools, APIs, and frameworks

Nice to Have

• Experience with NestJS, FastAPI, or Django
• Vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, or pgvector for RAG pipelines
• Docker, PM2, Nginx, and basic Linux server familiarity
• Prior work on trading bots, signal automation, or fintech APIs
• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or other queueing systems
• Active GitHub profile with real projects or open-source contributions
